Mission Statement
Family Ties – Altoona (FTA), a non-profit organization, seeking to inspire
diverse audiences and artists to create, participate, appreciate, and grow
through the
arts.  The Community Arts Center will serve as a folk music cafe
and a club for artists, families, and arts enthusiasts in the City of Altoona.  
It will build community through visual, literary, and performing arts exhibits,
workshops and educational programs that foster youth's ethical, cultural,
social, and intellectual development while deepening values such as
kindness, helpfulness, personal responsibility, and respect for others.
